CHICAGO– The judge in the corruption trial of ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich expects the jury to wrap up by Friday. Other media reports indicated a verdict could come as soon as this afternoon.
Federal Judge James Zagel made the prediction late Tuesday morning after reading the latest missive from jurors. The six men and six women on the jury requested a copy of the oath they took when they were selected to the office, as well as instructions regarding a partial verdict.
